Where is Nosara?

Nosara is located along the Pacific Ocean in the northern province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Nosara is likely not what you’re accustomed to. It’s a rural, jungle, beach town with dirt and paved roads, it’s slow paced and casual. To learn more about what to expect, visit the infrastructure page.

Where do I fly into?

The closest international airport is Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport, aka: Liberia Airport (LIR). From Liberia airport, it is approximately a 2.5 - 3 hour drive by car.

San Jose’s International Airport (SJO) is approximately 5 hours by car, depending on traffic.

If you don’t want to make the drive, Nosara has a small domestic airport (NOB). The two airlines that provide flights to Nosara are Sansa and Costa Rica Green Airways.
